Equity Statement
Bringing Birth Home - Naitre Chez Soi, is deeply committed to the equality and equity of Indigenous women, youth, children, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ community members. As an Indigenous organization, we take our responsibilities for addressing systemic disparities and historical traumas seriously. We recognize the unique challenges faced by Indigenous Peoples when accessing quality healthcare, including culturally aligned maternal care.
We are committed to advancing policies and practices that prioritize the health and well-being of all community members, and to centering their voices and experiences in decision-making processes. Collectively, we work towards a future where all individuals are able to receive the care and support they need to thrive with dignity and respect.
